Injuries Reported in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on Broadway and Alamitos Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (April 20, 2025) – Friday night, a man sustained injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash on Broadway and Alamitos Avenue.

The incident occurred at 8:40 p.m. on Broadway Avenue and Alamitos Avenue, said the Long Beach Police Department spokesman Richard Mejia.

A man was hospitalized with upper body injuries after being hit by an SUV while crossing Broadway. The SUV driver did not stop.

Paramedics said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
