Man Injured in Deadly Head-On collision on Road 200 [Madera County, CA]

Madera County, CA (October 03, 2025) — A 69-year-old North Fork woman died and a 75-year-old Fresno man suffered injuries Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision on Road 200 near Duke Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving eastbound around 4:30 p.m. when her vehicle veered into the opposite lane during a curve and collided with a Chevy Silverado driven by a 75-year-old Fresno man.

The woman died at the scene. The man sustained major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
