Police Search Driver After Hit-and-Run Crash at Main Avenue and Jefferson Street in Laredo
LAREDO, TX (June 7, 2026)— A bicyclist suffered minor injuries Sunday evening after a reported hit-and-run crash at Main Avenue on Laredo’s west side.
According to the Laredo Police Department, officers responded shortly after 5 p.m. to the intersection of Main Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Police said a Toyota Camry reportedly struck a man riding a bicycle at the intersection.
After the collision, the Camry driver left the scene, according to investigators.
When officers arrived, they found the bicyclist conscious and breathing. Authorities said he sustained minor injuries.
Officials have not released additional details about his condition.
Police have not released information about the driver or the vehicle’s license plate.
The Laredo Police Department continues to investigate the reported hit-and-run crash.
