Man Injured in Alarming 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 and Hanford Armona Road [Kings County, CA]

Injuries Reported in Kings County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 41 and Hanford Armona Road

KINGS COUNTY, CA (July 1, 2025) – Friday night, a man suffered injuries in an alarming 3-vehicle crash on Highway 41 and Hanford Armona Road.

The incident happened at about 9:40 p.m. in the area of Highway 41 northbound and Hanford Armona Road.

Authorities say that a 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup was traveling north on Highway 41 when it approached stopped traffic near Hanford Armona Road. 

Due to unsafe speed for the conditions, the Chevrolet’s driver failed to stop in time and rear-ended a 2019 Ford Transit van that was stopped for a red light. The impact pushed the Ford into the back of a Honda Civic ahead of it.

CHP confirmed the Chevrolet driver was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained major injuries. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. His current condition is unknown.

The Ford’s driver and four passengers sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the Honda was not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
