Injuries Reported in Boone County Auto Accident on MO 124 and Route U

BOONE COUNTY, MO (May 31, 2026) – Friday night, a man sustained injuries in a crippling vehicle crash on MO 124 and Route U.

The incident happened at 8:32 p.m. on MO 124 and Route U.

According to the crash report, a 2010 Ford Fusion failed to yield, and a 2019 Toyota Highlander struck the vehicle, causing the Ford to overturn.

The Toyota driver, a 23-year-old woman from Hallsville, was not injured.

Authorities said the Ford driver, a 45-year-old man from Centralia, suffered serious injuries and was transported by EMS to a hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the Hallsville woman was wearing a seatbelt, while the Centralia man was not.
