1 Hurt in Napa Pedestrian Crash on Soscol Avenue and Shetler Avenue

NAPA, CA (December 8, 2020) – Friday evening, a man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Soscol Avenue and Shetler Avenue.

The incident happened at 5:35 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Soscol Avenue, south of Shetler Avenue. Sgt. Mike Walund said that the pedestrian crossed the road outside a marked crossing. Then, an oncoming sport-utility vehicle hit him.

Thus, responders took him to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with critical injuries. However, the authorities expect him to survive.

Meanwhile, the authorities clarified that the SUV driver was not under the influence of any intoxicants.
