LOS ANGELES, CA (February 27, 2023) – Sunday morning, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Venice Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard.

According to the LAPD news release, the collision took place at approximately 1:17 a.m. on Venice Boulevard, east of Robertson Boulevard.

The vehicle headed west on Venice Boulevard and struck a pedestrian as he crossed the street outside of the marked crosswalk. Officers confirmed that the male victim received medical attention from the Los Angeles Fire Department. However, he later passed away from his injuries at the hospital.

As of now, the police do not have any information regarding the vehicle or the driver. Reports confirmed that the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene, identify themselves or provide aid to the victim.
