SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 24, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a man in his 50s died in a devastating auto accident on Interstate 10 near Scenic Loop Road.

The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Scenic Loop.

According to police, a man and a woman were pushing their vehicle off the highway when a gray pickup truck struck the rear of their car and fled the scene. 

The man was declared dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. Authorities have not yet disclosed the man’s identity and are still looking for the pickup truck driver.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
