SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 15, 2026)— A man died early Thursday morning after another vehicle struck him following a crash near Binz-Engleman Road and Interstate 35 in San Antonio.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m.

Police said the man was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. After the initial crash, he got out of his vehicle.

A second vehicle then struck the man, killing him at the scene.

Authorities said the driver of the second vehicle fled after the collision.

Officials have not released the victim’s identity or a description of the fleeing vehicle.
