Man Killed in Arlington Hit-and-Run; Authorities Seek Driver

Arlington, WA (February 25, 2025) – A 44-year-old California man died early Saturday morning after a horrific hit-and-run crash on Pioneer Highway.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the deadly incident happened in the 1500 block of Pioneer Highway.

Reports say that the the victim had traveled from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by public transit and was walking with his luggage to a relative’s home when the crash occurred.

Detectives believe the collision happened overnight and that the suspect fled in an Infiniti or Nissan sedan or sports coupe. The vehicle likely has front passenger-side damage and a missing passenger mirror.

Authorities urge anyone who saw the victim walking or has information about the suspect vehicle to contact 911 or call the tip line at 425-388-3845.
