DIGGINS, MO (April 27, 2026) – Early Sunday morning, a Seymour man died in a devastating bicycle crash on US 60.

The incident happened at about 3:45 a.m. on US 60 in Diggins, Mo.

Troopers said a 25-year-old man from Seymour was riding his bicycle westbound in a traffic lane when he was struck by an SUV traveling in the same direction.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a CoxHealth paramedic. No other injuries were reported.

Officials said this marks Troop D’s 40th traffic fatality of 2026.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
