Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys

 
VAN NUYS, CA (November 1, 2019) – A man in his 20s was killed in a hit-and-run crash late Friday evening in Van Nuys.
 
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on Sepulveda Boulevard, just south of Hatteras Street.
 
Police said the victim had just parked his car along the west curb of Sepulveda Boulevard. While he was walking across the street, a speeding white Infiniti G37 sedan struck him.
 
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid.
 
Authorities are still investigating the fatal incident and on the lookout for the suspect. They asked any witnesses to contact Valley Traffic Division detectives at 818-644-8036. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling LA Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
