Police Investigate Fatal Pickup Truck Accident in Scarsdale

San Antonio, TX (August 26, 2025) – A man died in a pickup truck accident in Scarsdale.

A man lost his life Tuesday night after falling from a moving pickup truck on San Antonio’s northeast side, according to local police.

Authorities said the incident happened around 11:13 p.m. along the 13000 block of Scarsdale, near the Northern Hills Golf Club. 

Two men were inside the truck when, at some point, the passenger unexpectedly fell out and hit the roadway.

Police have not yet confirmed what caused the man to fall or how the truck’s door opened while the vehicle was in motion.

Emergency medical personnel arrived quickly and attempted to save the man’s life. Despite their efforts, the victim — believed to be in his 20s — was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to this fatal incident.
