Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Madison Avenue [Sacramento County, CA]

Sacramento County, CA (December 3, 2024) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Madison Avenue Sunday night.

It was around 7:15 p.m. when the deadly crash happened east of Sunrise Boulevard in Fair Oaks.

CHP said an eastbound vehicle driven by an adult man had struck another adult male who was trying to cross the road.

Officers said the pedestrian was crossing the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk. Police said he walked directly into the path of the vehicle.

Sadly, the pedestrian was killed at the accident scene.

The driver, on the other hand, was not hurt in the accident.

CHP is investigating this deadly crash.
