Cabazon, CA (January 4, 2025) On Thursday morning, a 60-year-old Banning man was killed after a horrific pedestrian crash on Malki Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly collision happened around 5:40 a.m. near Malki Avenue.
Reports say that the 60-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a driver early Thursday morning in Cabazon.
Authorities say that the victim was walking along the roadway when he was struck by another Banning resident driving in the area.
Officials confirmed that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, and no arrests have been made. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity.
