50-Year-Old Man Killed in Route C Accident [Kansas City, MO]

Kansas City, MO (November 6, 2025) –  A 50-year-old man from Warrensburg was killed following a Route C accident Tuesday night.

It was just before 7 p.m. on November 4 when the deadly traffic crash happened west of NE 851st Road.

Police said the victim was standing behind his truck, 1984 Chevrolet 2500 that was stopped with no lights on in the eastbound lanes of Route C.

Suddenly,  a 2022 Toyota Corolla driven by a a 20-year-old man rear-ended the Chevrolet.

The man was hit and killed at the scene while the Toyota’s driver was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Troopers withheld the identity of the deceased.
