Suspect in Horrific Pedestrian Accident on Reseda Boulevard At Large [Tarzana, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Leaves 60-Year-Old Pedestrian Critically Injured in Tarzana

Tarzana, CA (February 12, 2025) – A 60-year-old pedestrian was hurt and hospitalized Tuesday morning after a shocking pedestrian accident on Reseda Boulevard.

According to Los Angeles police, the horrific incident happened just before 9:30 a.m. at Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street.

Reports say that the driver of a black Ford F-150 who struck a 60-year-old pedestrian and fled the scene, leaving the victim in critical condition.

Surveillance footage captured the pickup driver making a left turn onto Clark Street before hitting the pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.

Several bystanders witnessed the crash and stopped to help the victim. Initially, the driver exited his truck and approached the injured pedestrian but quickly returned to his vehicle and sped off eastbound on Clark Street without providing assistance or identifying himself, police reported.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities have not released his name pending notification of family members.

Police described the suspect as a male wearing a baseball cap, a blue jacket, and dark-colored pants. A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and conviction.
