Peoria, AZ (November 11, 2023) – Saturday night, 58-year-old Manh Thach of Glendale died and 4 others sustained injuries in a crash on 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.

Peoria police responded to a call near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road just before midnight. Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles involved in the crash.

The driver of one vehicle, identified as 58-year-old Manh Thach of Glendale, sustained significant injuries and was transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

The other vehicle, carrying four individuals, was also taken to the hospital. One occupant suffered serious injuries, while the remaining three had injuries classified as minor.

Police believe Thach was driving southbound on 67th Avenue when he crossed the center lane lines, resulting in a head-on collision with the other vehicle.

The incident remains under investigation.
