Parker, AZ (September 21, 2026) — Manuel Martinez, 46, died after a boat and personal watercraft collided on the Colorado River near Parker, Arizona, on Thursday.

La Paz County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the crash near the Pirates Den Resort dock area. First responders treated Martinez at the scene and transported him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities arrested 55-year-old boat operator Lovro Paulic and said they believe alcohol played a role in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
