60-year-old Marc Ian La Brack Dead After Crash on Broadway and Swan in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (December 6, 2024) –  60-year-old Marc Ian La Brack died in a crash on Broadway and Swan.

Tucson Police announced details of a motorcycle crash that occurred Wednesday at Broadway and Swan.

Their report stated that 60-year-old Marc Ian La Brack was riding westbound on East Broadway at around 4:45 p.m., exceeding the 35 miles per hour speed limit, when he collided with a 2023 Subaru Forester. 

The Forester, driven by a 61-year-old woman, was traveling eastbound on Broadway and attempting a left turn onto North Venice Stravenue.

The driver of the Forester stayed at the scene, and Tucson Police confirmed she was not impaired during the incident. 

La Brack, who held a valid motorcycle endorsement but was not wearing a helmet, was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
