Marconi Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Male Pedestrian [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (August 31, 2022) On August 15, a man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash on Marconi Avenue in the Arden Arcade neighborhood.

The CHP says that the fatal pedestrian crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. o n the intersection with Avalon Drive.

Reports say that a vehicle struck the man and the suspect driver fled the scene. Authorities say that a traffic camera captured the incident.

Officials say that the suspect vehicle is a Lexus RX 350 or Lexus RX 450, model 2012 and 2015.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has not revealed the victim’s name pending the notification of his family.

Authorities are searching for the suspect in the Marconi Avenue hit-and-run crash. The CHP is asking witnesses to call the CHP North Sacramento Area Office at 916-348-2300 during business hours or at 916-798-0975 after hours.
