DINUBA, CA (September 4, 2023) – Friday night, authorities arrested Maria Orellana Majano after a fatal hit-and-run crash on El Monte Way and Dickey Avenue.

The incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. on El Monte Way and Dickey Avenue.

According to the Dinuba Police Department, a res SUV struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene westbound on El Monte Way without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the 59-year-old male victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the 55-year-old hit-and-run driver Orellana Majano of Parlier in Reedley.
