Mario Aguirre Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on 75th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]

Fatal Motorcycle Collision South of Thomas Road

Phoenix, AZ (December 10, 2022) – On Friday night, Mario Aguirre, a 22-year-old motorcyclist, dies in a hit-and-run crash on 75th Avenue.

The fatal accident took place at about 8:27 p.m. near the intersection with Encanto Boulevard, south of Thomas Road, wherein another car was also involved.

Responding officers located Mario Aguirre on the ground and declared him dead at the scene. The authorities say the driver who struck him fled the scene.

According to the investigators, Mario Aguirre was southbound on 75th Avenue when a vehicle turned onto Encanto Boulevard.

The authorities did not provide any description of the vehicle.

Officers are investigating the cause of the collision South of Thomas Road.
