Injury Reported in Deadly Kings County Crash
Lemoore, CA (August 19, 2025) — A two-vehicle collision on Sunday morning claimed the life of 21-year-old Marisa Gomez and left another driver with minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 11 a.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Lacey Boulevard, between Lemoore and Hanford.
Reports say that Gomez was driving a Ford Mustang southbound when she failed to yield at the intersection and pulled into the path of a westbound Hyundai Santa Cruz. The Hyundai struck the Mustang on the driver’s side.
Emergency crews transported Gomez to a hospital, where she later died. The Hyundai’s driver sustained only minor injuries.
