Luna County, NM (May 26, 2025) – 31-year-old Mark Dunn was killed in a horrific crash on Interstate 10 Sunday evening.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened on I-10 near milepost 68 at around 6 p.m.

New Mexico State Police responded to the scene where Dunn, the driver of a Ford passenger vehicle, attempted a U-turn from the right shoulder of the I-10 Westbound overpass to head east.

Authorities say that as Dunn re-entered the highway, a Dodge vehicle traveling westbound collided with his car.

Emergency officials pronounced Dunn dead at the scene. First responders transported the Dodge driver to a local hospital, and his condition remains unknown.
