Matthew Campbell Critically Injured in Baltimore Street Collision [Kirksville, MO]

Drivers Airlifted in Kirksville Vehicle Crash

Kirksville, MO (October 1, 2025) – Drivers Matthew Campbell, 34, of Novinger, and Norman Phelps, 74, of Kirksville, were injured following a Baltimore Street collision before Monday noon.

The collision between two pickup trucks happened west of the Highway 63.

Both driver, Campbell, and Phelps, 74, were seriously injured and had to be cut free from their mangled pickups.

Immediately, they were rushed to Kirksville Regional Airport where they were then airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia. They were listed in critical condition.

The authorities are investigating this traffic collision.
