Fresno County, CA (December 24, 2025) — 19-year-old Mattix Salmon a Kingsburg resident died Monday evening following a violent collision with a semi-truck in Fresno County.

According to authorities, the crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Manning Avenue east of Riverside Avenue.

Reports say that a semi-truck traveling east drifted into the westbound lane and sideswiped a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Salmon.
