Melissa Gonzalez of Chula Vista, CA, Arrested in I-5 N Deadly Crash [Castle Rock, WA]

Castle Rock, WA (May 4, 2026) – Melissa Gonzalez, a 45-year-old woman from Chula Vista, California, was arrested following an I-5N deadly crash that killed a 17-year-old girl Saturday morning.

Rescuers responded past 6:30 a.m. to the crash scene and determined that a 2025 Nissan Versa left the roadway and crashed onto a tree.

The teen passenger was killed in the accident.

Moreover, the driver, Gonzalez, was transported to an area hospital, and was later charged with vehicular homicide and DUI.
