Michael Highco Dies in Pacific Avenue Collision [Tacoma, WA]

Tacoma, WA (June 25, 2025) — 62-year-old Michael Highco of Tacoma died following a two-vehicle crash on Pacific Avenue earlier this month, according to local authorities.

The collision happened around 5:28 p.m. on June 19 near the 2600 block of Pacific Avenue. Tacoma police reported that the man was driving when his vehicle collided with another vehicle and then struck a utility pole.

The driver, later identified by the Pierce County Medical Examiner as Highco, suffered fatal injuries and died as a result of the crash.

The occupant of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
