Fremont, CA (September 25, 2026) — 33-year-Old Michael John Stafford Jr. of Fremont died after a collision with a passenger vehicle Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Hastings Street and Keats Street.

The Fremont Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 1:38 p.m. and found Stafford unresponsive at the scene. First responders provided emergency medical care before transporting him to a nearby trauma center, where he later died from his injuries.

According to the preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Hastings Street when it collided with a passenger vehicle that was turning left from Keats Street onto southbound Hastings Street. The passenger-vehicle driver was not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators.
