Michael Joseph Schall Killed in Tragic Crash on Interstate 10 [Hudspeth County, TX]

Hudspeth County, TX (June 17, 2025) Authorities identified the man who died in a tragic crash on I-10 as 40-year-old Michael Joseph Schall of Marana, Florida.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the deadly incident happened early Sunday morning on Interstate 10 around 5 a.m.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian lying in the roadway.

Authorities says that the crash occurred near mile marker 66, approximately four miles east of the El Paso County line.

Following the collision, the vehicle came to a stop in the center median. The driver was unharmed. Officials pronounced Schall dead at the scene.

Texas DPS continues to investigate the incident.
