Michael Kiss Arrested in Hit-and-Run Crash on S Halcyon Road

1 Hospitalized in Arroyo Grande Pedestrian Accident on S Halcyon Road

ARROYO GRANDE, CA (October 20, 2021) – Tuesday morning, authorities arrested Michael Kiss in a hit-and-run crash on S Halcyon Road.

According to authorities, the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred in a crosswalk on S. Halcyon Road near Harloe Elementary School.

Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a woman as she led two children across the street in a marked crosswalk. Then, the driver fled the scene after the collision.

Moreover, responders transported the female victim to a hospital with unknown injuries. Meanwhile, the two children suffered no injuries in the incident.

Afterward, officers managed to locate and arrest the vehicle driver, Michael Kiss on Farroll Avenue. Officials said that Kiss was under the influence of drugs and had a loaded firearm in the vehicle.

Also, Kiss will be facing felony DUI with injury and a felony hit and run with injury. They booked him into SLO County Jail.
