Pedestrian Killed in Collision on Jefferson Avenue in Temecula

Temecula, CA (December 10, 2025) — 56-year-old Michael McClellan of Menifee died Sunday night after a tragic pedestrian collision on Jefferson Avenue.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash happened around 6:59 p.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Via Montezuma in Temecula.

Deputies responded to the scene and found that the crash involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian. Despite efforts by first responders, McClellan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities interviewed the driver, and no arrests have been made at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
