Michael Wyckoff and 3 Others Hurt in Frightening Collision on Lake Boulevard [Redding, CA]

Redding, CA (June 29, 2025) — Michael Wyckoff and 3 others suffered major injuries Friday night after an alleged DUI crash involving two vehicles and an occupied bus stop in Redding.

According to the Redding Police Department, the crash happened around 8:57 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Boulevard and Oasis Road. Investigators said 23-year-old Anthony Martin was driving a 1997 Honda Odyssey southbound at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light.

Police said the minivan struck a 2016 Mitsubishi sedan that was pulling onto Lake Boulevard from a nearby Dollar General. The impact sent the Odyssey onto the sidewalk, where it crashed into a bus stop occupied by two men before overturning onto its side.

Both pedestrians suffered serious injuries and were transported to Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center. The Mitsubishi driver, 41-year-old Wyckoff, and his female passenger also sustained major injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Investigators determined that Martin was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the crash. After receiving medical treatment, he was booked into the Shasta County Jail on multiple felony charges related to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
