Child Injured in Electric Bike Crash in Spokane
Spokane, WA (July 5, 2025) – Michelle Clarke, 50, is facing charges following a hit-and-run crash on W Wellsley Avenue Thursday.
Troopers said a child riding an electric dirt bike was struck by a car.
Luckily, the child did not incur life-threatening injuries. Officers said the victim identified Clarke as the driver.
Troopers said Clarke was slurring her words and changing her story about her whereabouts at the time of the collision.
Clarke’s blood alcohol level during the collision was 0.204, considered dangerously high.
The authorities arrested her for vehicular assault and hit and run. She was held on a $75,000 bond.
