Midland 3-Vehicle Crash Kills 40-Year-Old Rider

Midland, TX (September 23, 2026) – Miguel Rodriguez, 40, was killed in a Business 20 collision Monday afternoon.

According to the investigators, a 2005 Nissan Frontier traveling west in the inside lane slowed because of a crash ahead.

At the same time, a 2026 Indian N26 motorcycle, driven by Rodriguez, also westbound behind the Frontier had slowed because of the build-up.

That is when the driver of a Toyota Tacoma attempted to slow down but hydroplaned. The Tacoma rear-ended the motorcycle and the Tacoma then crashed into the Frontier.

Responding authorities declared Rodriguez deceased at the scene, while the drivers of the Tacoma and Frontier did not sustain injuries from the crash.
