Police Investigate  Semi-Truck Crash on Rio Bravo in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (June 24, 2025) – Police reported minor injuries after a semi-truck crash on Rio Bravo on Thursday.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and Bernalillo County Fire Rescue responded to two separate crashes Thursday in southwest Albuquerque.

A semi-truck rollover at Bobby Foster Road forced the closure of southbound I-25 at Rio Bravo.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene, and although no injuries were reported, officials shut down the roadway for several hours.

By 4:58 p.m., authorities had reopened the road to traffic.

First responders also handled a second crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck at the intersection of Rio Bravo and Second Street.

This collision resulted in minor injuries.

Authorities are urging drivers to use alternate routes while cleanup and investigations continue.
