Two Youths Injured in Wurzbach Parkway Crash; Driver Arrested for Intoxication Assault
San Antonio, TX (March 14, 2026) — A 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old were injured Wednesday night after a crash on Wurzbach Parkway.
Authorities say that the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Starcrest Drive in the North Side of San Antonio.
Reports say that the victims were inside a vehicle that was struck by another driver traveling westbound on Wurzbach Parkway.
The impact left both the 12-year-old girl and the 15-year-old with injuries. Emergency responders transported the two youths to a nearby hospital, where they received medical treatment.
Police evaluated the 46-year-old driver at the scene before taking him into custody. Investigators later arrested him on suspicion of intoxication assault in connection with the crash.
Officials continue to gather more information about the circumstances leading up to the collision.
Let’s Drive Safer Together
High-speed crashes can occur in the blink of an eye, but so many are preventable with small, intelligent decisions. Pay attention, don’t get distracted (say, by texting) and never drive after drinking. As ever – obey speed limits, buckle up and keep plenty of room between yourself and other vehicles. These are small enough measures to save lives — including your own.
We can all take steps to help keep our roads safe for ourselves, our families and our communities.
Driving under the influence puts innocent lives at risk, especially vulnerable passengers such as children and teenagers. Motorists should always choose a safe alternative if they have been drinking. Responsible driving decisions can prevent serious injuries and save lives.
What Happens After a Traffic Collision?
The aftermath of a traffic accident can feel overwhelming. Between medical appointments, time away from work, insurance calls, and mounting bills, pursuing compensation on your own can be stressful and time-consuming.
That’s why one of the most important steps you can take after a crash is speaking with a personal injury attorney. Having legal guidance can significantly ease the burden. An experienced attorney understands how to investigate the accident, collect evidence, handle insurance companies, and protect your rights throughout the claims process.
Without legal support, many people find the process confusing and frustrating—and some end up receiving far less compensation than they deserve, or none at all. You shouldn’t have to suffer additional hardship because of someone else’s negligence.
At Sweet Lawyers, our seasoned attorneys handle the legal complexities so you can focus on healing and moving forward. We work on a contingency fee basis, which means there’s no upfront cost—you don’t pay unless we win your case. We also offer free consultations, giving you the chance to understand your options with no pressure.
If you’ve been involved in a traffic collision, Sweet Lawyers is here with a compassionate, experienced team ready to stand up for your rights and pursue the justice your family deserves.
