Rescuers Transport Victims in Valleyford Deadly Vehicle Crash
Spokane, WA (April 14, 2026) – Misha Lee, 39, of Spokane, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on SR 27 Sunday night.
The deadly vehicle crash happened at 5:30 p.m., south of Valleyford.
WSP officers said a Honda CR-V driven by Linda Lee, 61, also of Spokane, was northbound on the freeway when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chevy Equinox.
Afterward, the CR-V was also hit by another vehicle in the southbound lane.
Misha Lee, a passenger in the CR-V, died in the collision.
Linda Lee and her 11-year-old passenger were transported to an area hospital.
Moreover, the 19-year-old Spokane Valley man, who was driving the Chevy Equinox, was also hospitalized.
Meanwhile, all the occupants in the third vehicle did not sustain injuries.
Police said DUI was not a factor in the fatal crash, but charged Linda Lee with driving over the center line.
Sweet Lawyers extend their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Misha Lee. We hope they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
Finding Support and Justice After a Fatal Collision
The sudden loss of a loved one in a tragic accident can be life-altering. Beyond the emotional grief, families are often left facing unexpected financial burdens such as medical expenses, funeral costs, and the loss of future income and support.
During this challenging period, understanding your legal options can provide a sense of direction. Filing a wrongful death claim can help families pursue accountability while also securing financial stability for the future.
A wrongful death lawsuit allows families to seek compensation for both economic and non-economic damages. This may include:
- Funeral and burial expenses
- Medical bills related to the final injury or care
- Loss of income and future financial support
- Emotional suffering and loss of companionship
Taking legal action is not only about financial recovery—it’s about holding negligent parties responsible. Whether the fatal accident involved reckless driving, distracted behavior, or impairment, pursuing a claim can help bring justice and potentially prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
While no legal action can undo the loss, seeking justice can provide a sense of closure and peace. It is a meaningful step toward honoring your loved one’s life and protecting your family’s future.
