Moises Alvarez Robles, 83, Dead in Bicycle Crash on Chester Avenue [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (April 21, 2026) – Moises Alvarez Robles, 83, was killed in a bicycle crash on Chester Avenue Wednesday.

The bicycle collision happened on April 15 at the 300 block area.

Troopers said Robles appeared to have minor injuries when he was taken to Kern Medical, where he succumbed to his injuries after two days. 

Moreover, the driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officers said speed and impairment did not play roles in the deadly crash.
