Monica Sandoval Saavedra Dies in Tragic Crash Near State Route 507 [Pierce County, WA]

Pierce County, WA (June 25, 2025) Pierce County prosecutors charged 40-year-old Time Time with second-degree murder and vehicular homicide after a police pursuit ended in a fatal crash that killed passenger Monica Sandoval Saavedra, also known as “Spicy Monii.”

Authorities say that the crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on June 14 after deputies in Parkland tried to stop Time’s speeding Chrysler 300. He fled at over 100 mph, running a red light and stop sign before crashing near the Roy Y at State Route 507 and Pacific Avenue.

Officials say that Time lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a Pierce Transit Park & Ride. Sandoval Saavedra, a 35-year-old mother of two and a contestant on Joseline’s Cabaret, was thrown from the car and later pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Time and another male passenger were hospitalized. Time had recently been released from prison in 2022 after serving nearly 11 years for his role in a 2010 gang shooting in Tacoma.
