Young Boy Injured in Highway 108 Rollover Crash in Tuolumne County
Tuolumne County, CA (April 8, 2026) — 24-year-old Morgan Bejaran of Oakdale and a 3-year-old boy were injured and airlifted for treatment following a rollover accident on Highway 108 in Tuolumne County.
The incident happened east of Tulloch Road. Authorities reported that a sedan traveling westbound veered off the roadway before overturning and coming to rest in the center median.
The young passenger suffered minor injuries, while the driver, Bejaran, sustained moderate injuries. Emergency crews airlifted both to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators determined that neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the crash. Officials continue to review what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Keeping the Road Safe is Everyone’s Responsibility
Be a defensive driver to prevent road accidents. Stay alert, maintain a safe distance, and always expect the unexpected. Avoid distractions, obey speed limits, and use your signals. Watch for pedestrians and cyclists. A proactive, cautious approach keeps everyone safer on the road. Drive smart, drive safe!
Rollover crashes can be especially dangerous for passengers, particularly young children. Always ensure children are secured in proper car seats and drive cautiously, especially on highways, to reduce the risk of losing control.
