Mortifying Pedestrian Crash on Antelope Road Kills 1 [Sacramento, CA]

Pedestrian and Dog Killed in Sacramento County Hit-and-Run

Sacramento, CA (June 19, 2025) – A pedestrian and their dog tragically lost their lives after a frightening pedestrian crash on Antelope Road early Wednesday morning.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 4:30 a.m. as the victim walked through the Home Depot parking lot in the 5800 block of Antelope Road.

Reports say that a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian and their dog in Sacramento County.

Both the pedestrian and the dog died at the scene. The driver fled immediately after the incident.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal hit-and-run.
