ALBUQUERQUE, NM (December 23, 2024) – Sunday night, a person died in a brutal motor vehicle crash near Dennis Chavez Boulevard.

The crash happened at about 11:45 p.m. near Dennis Chavez Boulevard near 118th Street.

When the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office came to the scene, they located at least four victims. However, one of the victims died in the crash scene while the others were taken to UNMH.

Moreover, the crash shut down Dennis Chavez Boulevard in both directions near 118th Street.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
