Motorcycle Collisions Can Be Prevented
Motorcycles provide an open road, but safety is key. Wear a DOT-approved helmet and protective gear every time you ride to prevent injuries from crashes. Keep visible — use headlights, bright-colored clothing and try not to ride in blind spots. Observe all the rules of the road and keep your speed in check, and never ride while impaired. Keep your wits about you and never assume anyone else sees you.
The choices you make can save your life.
Motorcyclists face increased risks when sharing the road with larger vehicles. Drivers and riders should remain alert, maintain safe distances, and watch carefully at intersections and highway crossings. Practicing safe driving habits can help prevent serious crashes and protect everyone on the road.
