Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash on Avenue 3E in Yuma

Yuma, AZ (February 10, 2026) – A 21-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on Avenue 3E on Tuesday morning, according to the Yuma Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 6:57 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, to a collision in the area of South Avenue 3E. 

Investigators reported that the rider, a 21-year-old man on a Honda motorcycle, traveled westbound on Avenue 3E and crashed into the rear of a Toyota Scion.

YPD said the Scion, driven by a 25-year-old man, was stopped in traffic at the time of the collision. 

The motorcyclist was taken to Onvida Health and later flown to a Phoenix hospital in serious condition. 

Police said the Scion’s driver suffered minor injuries and did not require transport.

Investigators noted that speed appears to have contributed to the crash. 

YPD asked anyone with information to call (928) 783-4421 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
