Man Hospitalized After Crash on Broadway and Arapahoe  in Boulder

BOULDER, CO (March 24, 2026) — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on Broadway and Arapahoe with a sedan Friday evening in Boulder, and police are asking the public for help gathering more information.

According to a city news release, the collision happened at about 7:40 p.m. A 20-year-old man was riding a black and gray motorcycle northbound on Broadway when he collided with a black Volkswagen sedan. 

Police said the 27-year-old driver of the sedan was turning left onto Arapahoe from southbound Broadway at the time of the crash.

Emergency responders took the motorcyclist to Boulder Community Health with serious injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagen was also taken to Boulder Community Health, where he was examined and later released.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the events leading up to it to contact a Boulder police officer at 720-648-0546.
