1 Dead in Garden Grove Motorcycle Accident on Garden Grove Boulevard

GARDEN GROVE, CA (August 18, 2025) – Sunday morning, a 34-year-old man died in a devastating motorcycle crash on Garden Grove Boulevard.

The incident involving a motorcycle and a minivan happened at 9:42 a.m. in the 9100 block of Garden Grove Boulevard near Cannery Street

Sgt. Charles Starnes of the Garden Grove Police Department said officers arrived to find the rider of a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle unresponsive. Orange County Fire Authority personnel determined the rider had died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 28-year-old Garden Grove man in a 2001 Honda Odyssey, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police.
