Police Investigate Crash on Interstate 270 near Olive Boulevard

St. Louis, MO (August 28, 2025) – A motorcycle crash on Interstate 270 disrupted rush hour traffic Thursday morning near Olive Boulevard. 

The collision occurred around 7:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-270, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers reported that the impact of the crash threw the motorcycle rider into the southbound lanes. 

Authorities have not released the rider’s condition or confirmed whether any other vehicles were involved.

The crash forced officials to close all northbound lanes and four southbound lanes as emergency crews responded to the scene.

By approximately 9:00 a.m., the Missouri Department of Transportation announced that all lanes had reopened.
