1 Person Dead in Jefferson County Motorcycle Accident on Route V and Mount Olive Road

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (April 12, 2026) – Thursday afternoon, a fatal motorcycle crash on Route V and Mount Olive Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:09 p.m. on Route V and Mount Olive Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2008 Honda VTX1300 motorcycle attempted to brake to avoid a collision with a southbound 2023 Ford Bronco Sport that attempted to turn left. Then, the motorcycle skidded and collided with an SUV.

Moreover, responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the 54-year-old female driver of the Bronco remained at the scene and did not sustain injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
